Krate Digga is already well known as one of Ohio’s most diverse Hip Hop and Soul DJ’s. The release of #KeysAndStrings solidifies the fact that he is a Triple Threat – A D.J., Producer, and Musician.

As a self-taught musician who has been playing since the age of seven, Krate has a talent for listening to music in a way only a natural born music lover can. He can tune into the essence of the sound and take it to a completely new frequency. With over 15 years as a DJ, Krate has an extensive knowledge of the vibration, tones, and sounds in songs that he then translates into his music.

“I am always thinking about music on some level. I hear it everywhere, and it is a part of my mind”

He is a co-founder of the Mighty SoundChampz Crew, a resident DJ at some of the best-known venues in Columbus, and has his own show on The Pulse Radio – The People’s Choice, called Release Radio. You can check Krate Digga out at http://thepulse-radio.com/

4 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Sundays

Lately his talents have kept him heavily in Production, working with some of the hottest artist around. You can hear his influence on releases that cover Jazz, Hip Hop and all the way to Poetry/Spoken Word. You may even be fortunate enough to see him perform live, I was.

There is one thing you have to understand when you are listening to #KeysAndStrings:

You are listening to an album that is infused by a lifelong love affair Krate has with sound. You will hear guitar that will remind you of influences like Jimmy Hendrix, or Carlos Santana. The keyboard will have you dreaming of Herbie Hancock but Krate’s sound is completely organic and unique.

#KeysAndStrings gets an impressive 4
