March 21st marked the birth of a new monthly educational and inspirational networking event wishing to promote blacks working in tech-based fields. Blk Hack’s first workshop featured speakers such as Sandee Kastrul, founder of of I.C Stars, a leading organization that teaches digital skills and leadership, Calvin Cooper of NCT Ventures, and Jay Bobo who spoke on his journey through entrepreneurship and writing code.

Sponsored and hosted by Rev1 Ventures, Blk Hack will continue its mission in order to fill the deficit of black minorities in the tech field. During and after the event, guests were encouraged to have open dialogue in order to discuss questions or ideas.
